stupid fight

so my bf and I are long distance. he used to live here, but he moved for a job. so my best friend's mom likes to butt her head in our lives and try to play match maker for both of us. well she doesnt know about my bf (its been a while since I've talked to her, and my best friend didnt think it was her business to tell her). so she sent my best friend some info about some guy who is "PERFECT" for me apparently. I told my boyfriend because I thought it was funny she was trying to play match maker when I'm already dating someone. He got mad at me! Now he's all pissed off and only sending thumbs up to me. I explained how it's been a while since I've been over so she has no idea we're dating and she didn't mean I should break up with him, but he just keeps sending thumbs up and being pissy about it. finally I just said "Whatever then, be mad at me for something I didn't do. Cool. have a good day." and he hasn't even responded. I don't know what I'm supposed to do here.
