Husband at appointments?

Who has their husband at every ultrasound? I had one at 6 weeks (found out I was 5 weeks) and plan on having him at my now 7 week appointment. He asked if he had to go to every one. I figured once we see the heart beat he didn’t have to go to all of them.

Mine is at everyone but he chooses to be I would be fine with him skipping some but he doesn’t want to I leave it up to him really

My last pregnancy I only had three ultrasounds my whole pregnancy. So he came to all of them. But he doesn’t come to the appointments. They’re boring and last about ten minutes. He doesn’t need to call off of work for a whole day for a ten minute appointment of just the DR. asking me questions.

My fiance' can't miss work that often yet until he gets FMLA, which he doesn't want to do just yet since we haven't announced (once he asks about FMLA the whole factory will know and then our whole small town will know, lol). However, I still don't think he needs to be at every single appt, just the big ones. Ex: First time we hear the heartbeat, finding out the gender, etc. That way he doesn't use up all his FMLA and can take more time off work once the baby gets here!

My husband wants to be at the appointments. He usually asks me to schedule for later in the evening though so he can still go to work and just leave a little early but I don’t make him go.
