I know this is for pets... but I just killed this snake that was trying to bite my pups...anyone know what it is?? I’m from Houston, Texas!

Out of all the snakes you can find in that area it just looks like a garter snake to me! Or a type of Crayfish snake. Neither are venomous, so the pups should be fine when it comes to that!
