Vagina pain/ pubic bone pain?

Question

Anyone experiencing pubic bone pain?  I’m 28 weeks and it hurts to walk and put on pants etc. Only one side of my vagina has this pain. I also wonder if its because the baby is transverse. If you do have his pain any ideas how to help it?

Look up Symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD). I got it with my first and he was head down from 20 weeks until birth. I have it again this time too, and baby is head down again. You can look up exercises on YouTube to help. My favorite one is putting a ball or your fist in between your knees and squeezing it with you legs (3 reps of 10 squeezes). Yoga also helps me immensely (cat/cow, even some warrior poses, downward facing dog). Try to keep your legs together when you get out of the car or roll over in bed and try to hug your belly in around your baby if you have to do anything that requires separating your legs (ie walking up stairs). It went away immediately after birth for me.

I have had the same pain since about 20 weeks. Some days it's worse than others. I think it may have to do with your hips widening and joints loosening. I try to sit down to put my pants on now and rest usually helps when it is really bad.

Yes I get it so bad if I walk to far. I had it in my last child but not my first child. The doctor told me it’s your pubic bone joins together in the middle rubbing off each other when you walk. The more kids you have the worse it gets. Put both hands in a fist motion and put your knuckles together. It’s like they are rubbing up and down when you walk. Hope this makes sense and helps.

I get the same pain and it's annoying. Mine goes away in a few days then comes back. I was told its basically a pulled muscle. Since your muscles relax during pregnancy. It's just something you have to live with. Now when I feel it coming on I walk more even if it is at a slower pace and stretch and that's helped me.

I have literally just started getting this! It feels like It’s on one side and a bit like a growing pain in the bone! No idea what it is but very uncomfortable

I have this same pain, on one side only, since about 20 weeks! I tried going to the chiropractor and it did nothing :( I’m 27 weeks with twins and last ultrasound they were stacked on top of each other sideways so I wonder if it does have something to do with baby being transverse?
