My husband is an idiot

I just need to rant 😩

I love my husband. He’s an amazing husband and father. He provides for us and works extremely hard for what we have. But.. he keeps getting pulled over for speeding. In the last 2 years he got pulled over like 8 times. But it happened in two “cycles” he got pulled over 4 times in 2 months 2 years ago. And then went a year without anything. In the past 3 months, it’s another 4 times.

How has he not gotten his license taken away? Idk. He’s lucky. But my god, these fines are gonna kill us. We start doing good and bam, another fine we have to pay. Another court date. Another day he has to take off of work which his boss is getting fed up with. He knows it’s wrong. He keeps telling me he doesn’t know why, he just doesn’t realize it. He also has this thing where if the speed limit is 60 and everyone else is going 80, he should follow the speed of traffic and he won’t be the one to get pulled over. But he always is.

I know 100% his license is going to get taken away. Which REALLY hurts us because he travels for work, I don’t and can’t drive, and we have no one to help. He’s working in places where a lot of times there is no Uber and taxis aren’t available at the times he needs. (Often works until 3am)

Did I mention I’m 7 months pregnant? And we have a toddler😩😩😩

Hes 21 so maybe its just the part of him that hasn’t grown up yet. Idk what to do. Amazing man.. but my god is he an idiot. If I was a judge, I’d put him in jail for a few days. Hopefully that doesn’t happen though because he’ll lose his job.

Wish us luck. And pray for him to quit acting like a reckless guy.
