Any other gamer moms?

I have been a gamer since childhood and I love it. I started with Nintendo 64. My step mom hates video games and thinks moms should not play them because she thinks it distracts from parenting and only “bad moms play games” I use to play a lot more as a teenager but now I only play for about two hours every now and then after my son goes to bed for the night. Not even every night. Just as a way to wind down after a hard day. She thinks i will let my son play violent video games from a young age and doesn’t believe me when I tell her that I take age ratings seriously. She also started to lose respect for my mom after she found out that my mom plays video games and she and I use to play N64 together all the time. It created a tight bond between us. I’m tired of the judgmental comments and I don’t know what else to do. It seems like a lot of people hold judgment towards this and I’m wondering how other gamer moms or even gamer parents deal with it? My children and fiancé always come first, and I never let gaming get in the way of them.
