BV???

I have a new partner and every time we have sex I get BV symptoms. My doctor prescribed me through the phone antibiotics. I get this every time. Should I get treated for everything as this could be mistaken for Trichimoniasis? (alike symptoms)

Are you using latex condoms? If so you could be allergic to latex. That was my issue. I’ve had BV twice and it was horrible. After discovering I was allergic to latex, I started using only non latex condoms with my boyfriend and haven’t had a problem since 🤗 make sure you pee before and after sex too to help kill bacteria!

Your partner is probably carrying G vaginalis in his penis and probably needs to be treated also.

My Dr told me to soak a clean tampon in hydrogen peroxide and leave it inside ya for 10-15 minutes. Make sure to clean yourself before sex (and him) and definitely after sex! I was also told to use baby wipes when you poop to make sure it's all clean. Always wipe front to back! Good luck!!!!

I would go to the doctor to get tested for STI’s, if I were you.  That used to happen to me every time I had sex with my boyfriend.  I dealt with recurring infections for almost 2 years.  My doctor also just kept giving me medication for BV.  I finally got tested for STI’s and it was HPV. Threw my whole system off so I kept thinking it was recurring BV.  My body eventually took care of the HPV and everything is fine, but I’ll now have to keep getting tested for HPV every year.  Good luck.
