I did a dumb thing

I tested in the middle of the day, 4-6 before Aunt Flo is due and it was as negative as can be. Now I’m trying to convince myself that doesn’t mean I’m out. But then I’m like well maybe I didn’t have sex during the right period maybe I missed my ovulation date 😩 why, why can I not have any control? Why did I test when I knew I shouldn’t have. Why!?
