I’m a nanny for two kids and they have a bad past because their mother used to abuse them. Right now their father is away because he travels for work and he won’t be home till tomorrow night at 7... I’ve been watching them and spending the night since Monday and a neighbor is coming over tomorrow to give me a break for the rest of the week.

This happened today and I feel like he isn’t taking the situation seriously enough. I feel like he’s brushing it off like his kid is kidding. And you know what maybe his kid isn’t being serious... but guess what... what if he is and he actually needs help??!

When he responded saying that he doesn’t want him saying he wants to kill himself because he doesn’t want kenley to say it makes me so mad because she already has before and told me she cuts herself too (she’s 7 and the son is 10 by the way). And it makes me furious that he says he doesn’t want him saying it at school because something could happen.. like wtf?? You mean he would have to talk to the counselor and then they would contact you and fill you in so that you can take it front there?? Like I’m just at a loss right now I really don’t know what to do
