Mastitis, can it be treated without antibiotics?

2 days back I suddenly came down with flu like symptoms out of the blue. Extreme chills, fatigue, headache and sore muscles all over. By night I had a fever of 102.2 . I assumed I caught something, as it felt like flu but I was confused because I had no runny nose or chest congestion. I took Tylenol couple of times, every time I would feel a little better for couple of hours then end up back in bed with chills and fever of 102 or higher. Today I noticed my right breast was extremely sore and felt like there were lumps in there. I googled and found that mastitis can present with flu like symptoms. The thing is, my fever has subsided now, and I am feeling much better. But I still have a sore breast. Do I still need antibiotics? Also it hurts a lot to breastfeed from that side. I was wondering if anyone ever treated mastitis at home, without antibiotics, and didn't have fever returning.
