😫 pregnancy constipation?!

Im having severe abdominal pain today. I’ve been to the ER and baby looks fine (5 weeks 6 days) so they ruled out anything there. And I’ve never been constipated but I’m starting to think this might be the problem?! Has anyone had this during their first trimester? And what do i do about it?!

My god did I have & still do have this problem & I am 13w2d. I asked my doctor for colace & miralax as it’s all covered through my prescription plan. I take the colace in the morning with my prenatal & I take the miralax in tea before bed. Sometimes I still go a couple days without going & day 3 is awful but I have less of 3 days no go than 3 days go. Both of these are safe when pregnant. But obviously never take anything without talking to your doctor but these 2 things are what I suggest asking about for helping to soften & move the bowels

try more fiber spmw fruits lots of water stay away from cheese.

the hormones cause constipation! drink tons of water, you can use colace to soften your stool it draws water to the intestines. Also, gas x and laying on your left side.
