I don’t know what steps to take next.

A little TMI!

At first my husband and I were scared but as we talked more about it we decided that we are ready for this next chapter in our lives. We have now been TTC for about 5 months. My periods have always been irregular but I had surgery back in November and they said it would become more regular over time. Since November I have been getting my period every month but now I haven’t had a period for 40+ days. About 3 weeks ago, a week after ovulation I’m pretty sure I was getting implantation bleeding since I never had my period. Since we are TTC I’ve gotten excited but every time I take a test it comes up negative. I don’t know if I should go see a doctor(I’ve never been fond of doctors) or if it’s just all in a matter of waiting. I’ve never even been to a gynecologist.(I have personal issues with being looked at). Any advice?
