That doesn’t seem weird at all. He needs to shower after his workout and then has to deal with the commute to work. When I was going to the gym before work, I would leave at 4:30 am and got to work at 8

I think it’s normal for some guys to work out that much. Especially if they are doing a lot of weight lifting. It’s important to rest between sets and build up weight slowly so it can take a while to get to the max weight you want to work at. Then if you do 2-3 different lifts it can up up. Plus warm up and cool down. Then getting ready for work. It seems normal to me.

Totally normal! I work at 4pm and head to the gym around 1230-1 so I'm not rushed and I have time to shower and smell pretty again before work

I only chose what the heck because at 3a I'm in my REM cycle of sleep before I get up at 6:30a for work. Ha!

That’s what I used to do before kids. I’d go do my workout I was usually there for an hr and a half then I’d take a shower get ready and head to work

Doesnt seem that weird to me... how far is the gym from your house and from work? Is he showering after his workouts? Does he stop for breakfast?

I should add, he's a perfectionist, I can see his muscles growing.

It depends. How long is his commute the the gym? Work? How long does it take him to shower/get ready after working out? Do you see “results” from the gym?
All these are things to consider
