Am I asking for too much ?

My SO and I have been ttc for over a year now. It’s safe to say our luck hasn’t been the best . Anyway he suggested we have a visit with the doctor to make sure everything is fine. After scheduling the appointment I constantly reminded him of the date and time . Well yesterday was the appointment and he was a no show . I’m having mixed feelings about this one . I understand he works overnight so he was really time . On the other hand I feel like he wasnt there for emotional support. How do I addres the issue without a huge fight ?
