Meeting His Parents at a Really Bad Time

So i’ve been with my boyfriend for about 9 months now and have never met his parents. His sister is having a baptism for her baby (i’ve met his sisters, cousins, everyone except his parents) one Saturday in May and i’m invited (yay!) but one downside. I was born with no adult tooth to grow in once I lost my baby tooth, of course in the front of my mouth, in specific the tooth next to my front tooth. I recently got an implant in that spot two months ago and it’s time for the next step in the implant process now. They have to change out the screw that’s there then my orthodontist then has to fix my retainer with a fake tooth on it so I can wear the retainer while I wait for the tooth to be made by my dentist. Well it just so happens i’m meeting my boyfriends parents the weekend I won’t have a retainer in aka I won’t have a tooth in because my orthodontist will have my retainer. Does anyone have any advice to make me feel any better about how to deal with this situation?
