My boyfriend and i were talking about clothes after i showed him a picture of a girl in fashionNova ripped jeans. He said he liked them but wouldn’t want me to wear them. I then asked him about shorts for the summer. And he doesn’t want me to wear my regular length shorts I’ve been wearing for forever. Is he insecure for “not allowing me” to wear them?

You showed him them he gave his opinion yes you can wear whatever you’d like and he ever said no he said I wouldn’t like so there’s a difference but when your in s relationship sometimes you can just be showing too much and he’s just telling you how he feels about them as long as he trusts you then him saying he doesn’t want you to wear them is just his preference which should be respected by both of you

My boyfriend hardly lets me wear any of my “cute” clothes I can wear T-shirt’s and jeans and at work I’m a hostess so I have to wear cute outfits and he gets a lil upset sometimes and is constantly asking me to pull my shirt up if it’s a tiny bit low like lower than my collar bones. He doesn’t like when I wear a lot of make up but then he tells me he feels like I don’t care anymore about our relationship because I don’t dress nice like I used too. I used to have fun going out clothes and now all that stuff been packed away. But I don’t complain I like to dress up and do my hair and make up every now and again but I am comfortable in leggings and a T-shirt with my hair in a bun. I’ve changed my whole style to please him, and it’s okay to do that but sometimes you just gotta say my body my clothes 🤷🏼‍♀️ he only lets me wear shorts if it is hot and they have to be long and I can wear sexy clothes as long as we don’t leave the house.
