What to do with breastmilk once you switch to formula...

So I’m still debating switching to formula at least when I go back to work... we already use supplemental formula for some feedings... my question is how do you dry up your milk or when will it stop coming in if you stop nursing???

Ugh I’m dealing with this now! My breasts hurt so bad as I try to rid of my supply. I have been slowly pumping less and using cabbage leaves on them too. I don’t latch anymore and have just been freezing the milk.

Stop nursing. Can be decreasing slowly or cold turkey. Leftover breastmilk I’ve stored in the freezer I’ve been adding just an oz in every bottle.

I quit cold turkey. I just expressed as little as possible to relieve some of the pressure. 
I had problems with producing and was taking meds, I only ever got full on one side. It was torture for about a week. After 2 weeks I was good to go, no pain, no leaking.
