Due date off 2 weeks?

Hi ladies! My last period was March 2. I got my first positive April 3rd. I went in today for an ultrasound and was measuring 6.3 weeks. We saw the baby and heartbeat. My doctor assured me that seeing the heartbeat is great even though we have the dates off. My positive on April 3rd was not a squinted, it was clear as day. My blood work also put me at almost 9 weeks. Anyone experience this? I am still nervous even though we saw the baby.

We got our BFP April 2 . First day of last cycle was March 4. I thought I was 7+2 at our ultrasound this last Tuesday but he said I was measuring 5+6.... strangely there was a. Heartbeat tho. He did not let us listen to it long. I got really upset and confused and worried but decided to tell my brain to shut it lol. There’s a baby there’s a pole there’s a heart beat... what more plus I ask for #countingmyblessing lol. I also read a bunch of places online that a lot of dr don’t even throw dating out till women are a tad further along so I kinda wish my dr would have just hushhhhed. Strangely they have not taken any blood to test for hcg though - even though I have even asked. They say that’s not how kaiser does it
