Possible to feel ectopic at 13 dpo?

Question

Found out I was pregnant 9/10 dpo. I've been experienced a pretty constant level of discomfort/stabbing pain  in my left ovary and lower back on the left side and it's tender when I push on it but Ive also been having period like cramps in my uterus on and off so I'm confused. However I have had no spotting/bleeding or shoulder pain. Is it even possible to feel an ectopic when the baby is only the size of a poppy seed? My test was pretty dark at 12dpo. Any experiences?

I know that once I found out I was pregnant with my second child I had all of these symptoms. It was my body adjusting to being pregnant (at least that is what I was told) I did not have these symptoms with my first child so when we found out we were pregnant again 7 years later I had a lot of questions! Yes it is possible as an ectopic can occur in more than one place in the body. If you are in that much discomfort please call your doctor or go to the ER. They can do an Ultrasound to determine if the pregnancy has began in the uterus. At 4 weeks you may not seem much on an Ultrasound as levels of HCG are still low. An ectopic is usually addressed once it can be determined to be in the uterus or in another location.

I tested positive for pregnancy the day my period was due. 4 days later I woke up in the middle of the night with spotting. Had a little bit of cramping but that was it. Decided to go into the ER because I was so nervous about miscarrying and they did a transvag ultrasound and found it was ectopic. I was only 5 weeks along. They were able to remove it with a shot of methotrexate no surgery needed. If you’re having that much pain please go be seen ASAP.

with my ectopic I did not actually feel pain until a couple of weeks after my positive hpt. I did spot and bleed though almost right after i got the positive but every ectopic can be different different if pain gets severe go to the er. I ended up at the er bleeding internally and had to have emergency surgery

I don’t want to scare you but I had a friend have one and she tested positive before her period and then negative about a week later. Then she started having extreme discomfort, followed by bleeding days later. It could be normal for you! I would hope it is. But it’s always worth keeping an eye on

A close friend of mine had an ectopic and had discomfort symptoms early on. It could be the pregnancy however I do suggest calling in the am.
