Getting married at 19?!

My friends sister (I’m very close to her) is getting married to a guy she’s been dating for 5 months. They literally live across the country from each other. Since they’ve been together, they’ve only been around each other for 2 weeks total. But they have known each other for a long time and the guy she’s marrying is a good guy. But I really do not think she should marry him yet. I think that before you marry someone, you need to know them a lot and be around each other a lot or live with each other. UGH I think this is such a bad idea because of course, when they do finally see each other, it’s gonna feel amazing and magical because they never do see each other. What do you guys think?

My husband and I met each other in January of 2015. He brought my engagement ring when we met in-person for the first time a few months later. We lived 2,000 miles away from each other at the time. We got married a few months later, and are still happily married 3 years later. No offense, but leave it alone. You may think you know what’s best, but it’s her life.

i’m biased because i got married after 2 months of knowing him, and here we are still going strong almost 3 years later. so. i would suggest being supportive because she’s an adult and she’s going to do what she wants in the end. you just have to decide if you want to actually be in her life for all this or not. because if any of my siblings didn’t support my decision to marry the love of my life, then i’d show them the door. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ve been with my parter for 4 years and we just now tied the knot last week and I learn new stuff about him everyday! So regardless if it’s 2 mo or two years I don’t think it’s possible to completely know someone before your marry them lol 
You may think it’s a bad idea but it’s not your life, or your relationship. You job as a friend is to support her and be there for her. 🤷🏼‍♀️ just sayin

Normally I'm okay with people getting married young if they know each other long enough, but I think it would be a disaster to marry someone you've hardly been around. I also know from experience that even though you feel your friend is making a mistake, this is the time when she will really need you the most. So be there for her. Be supportive. And if one day she needs to leave him, you will be there to support her. If you go against it, she'll likely choose him and push you away.
