What is happening?
Good morning all.
My period is four days late, and the two pregnancy tests I have taken have been negative. My cycle is long: 32 days. The longest it has ever been has been 36 days. Starting about 36 hours before my period comes, I often get massively bad cramps. Like the ones that make you want to fold over and not move cramps. I normally take a midol and power through, as life goes on. I have not had those period cramps yet. What I have had are small cramps, nothing too painful, that are a bit higher up than my period cramps.
My breasts did get tender and swollen, but that has been happening lately with my period. Stuff changes after 30 y’all.
I have been feeling queasy after eating. And sometimes I feel a bit light headed when I walk around.
I have been eating well and drinking water. The past two nights I have had trouble sleeping. I fall asleep fine, but then I wake up around three and toss n turn til five when it’s time for me to get up.
I have been abnormally stressed at work. I’m a teacher, so stress is a constant, but the principal has particular gotten under all the teachers’ skins the past two week.
I have been seeing a personal trainer since January. We are working on building muscle, rather than loosing weight.
I am telling you all this in hopes of figuring whether my period is just super abnormally late, or I’m one of those women who get negative pregnancy tests.
In addition I just want to ask one of my friends, but since it’s my first, I want my husband to be the first to know but I don’t want to worry him if it’s nothing.
Speaking of husband, between my stress and his work schedule (he’s in film and works like 15 hours a day, often past midnight) we haven’t been having much sex. I am posting a screenshot of this past month so you all can see. I know it only takes once, but we haven’t been the most “safe” in a year. It’s not that we are actively trying to have a baby, but we are not trying to have a baby either.
Last, and this part might be tmi for some, so here’s your warning. Often during my cycle I have diarrhea that only lasts a day and then Aunt Flo shows up. I have had diarrhea this week, but my stool is still quite loose and I am pooping all the time. In addition, my cm is milky.
I am planning to test again Monday (I tested today and I guess it’s best to wait 48 hours before testing again) if nothing happens. I am wondering when is the earliest I could go to the doctor.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
