Relationship Problems

Okay, so my s.o. and I have been fighting a lot lately and it always seems to be about one topic. He’s constantly wanting me to come and stay over night with him. There’s a couple problems with that...

1. My parents are really religious and won’t allow it for a year or so. I’ve told him this a number of times.

2. I’ve told him I personally won’t stay with him until we have been dating for at least 6/8 months. (Without any breaks or him being gone for travel.)

3. He currently lives with 3 guys I don’t know at all and I don’t feel comfortable staying with them.

4. Even when he comes back to town, he lives with his parents and he lives in the same town as me. I really see no point in me staying with him over night until he gets his own place.

I know that for him it’s incredibly frustrating that I can’t/won’t stay with him, but I just don’t feel comfortable with it, nor do I really have the ability to change it until my parents are more okay with it. If he would just be willing to wait a little while, we could do all the things he wants to do, but he’s not willing to wait. I guess my question is; am I crazy or a bad girlfriend for respecting my parents wishes and having boundaries of my own? I’ve never had this problem with past boyfriends and I really don’t see this as something to break up over....please help.
