Does everyone lose their mucus plug?

I’ve seen a lot of posts about the mucus plugs, but does everyone see theirs/ lose theirs before they go into labor? I’m confused about this topic!

I continuously lost mine from 36 to 40 weeks. I went into labor at 40 weeks, 4 days.

no. I've only lost it once and I'm on my 4th pregnancy. it was with my first and I lost it at about hour 5 I to labor. it was mixed with my bloody show

I didn’t until I was in full blown labor. My membranes ruptured, and I started contracting and still no mucus. Then part way through the labor process I started losing some of it. Never a dramatic chunk like many on here.
