Fertility after retained placenta?

Anyone got pregnant easily for bb1, had à retained placenta and now having a hard time for ttc? 
I’m wondering if they are related

I am! 2 years, 1 miscarriage, 5+ chemicals... I feel like my horomones have been off ever since.
