Vegas recommendations?

My in laws are taking me to Vegas for my birthday! 
I’ve never flown anywhere so I’m pretty excited. I’m from Western Washington basically just a big rain forest so I’m pretty excited to see a big city. 
I need to choose if I want to stay in a hotel or rent an apartment/condo for the weekend. 
They want me to come up with a list of things I want to do while I’m there. I’m NOT a fan of gambling. But I do like clubs and bars. 
Besides that what is your favorite thing to do or see in Vegas? Any recommendations is welcome. TIA ☺️

I love the m&m; and Coca Cola places!!! ALSO I LOVE roller coasters. The one at New York New York is my favorite. ALSO HIT UP CIRCUS CIRCUS THEY HAVE AN INDOOR AMUSEMENT PARK!!!! Lol enjoy the fact that you can walk down the street and be drinking!!!!! Love Vegas!!! I’ve been going since middle school!! I’m 29 now. Ivebeen to vegas 10 times.

So I live in Vegas and here are a few recommendations. 
I like the idea of staying in a strip hotel for your first experience. That way it will be easy to get anywhere you want to go. 
O is a great show. I’ve seen it and absolutely loved it. 
Hit up a pool during the day if you want to relax a bit. My favorites are Mandalay Bay and Golden Nugget. (There is a charge to get in if your aren’t a hotel guest)
I don’t club, but Tao and Hakkasan are both very popular. 
There is a sweet ice bar called Minus 5 in Monte Carlo and one in Mandalay Bay too. It’s a really fun experience. 
Definitely check out Fremont Street experience. 
Walk the strip. The MM Factory is cool. 
There are a bunch of rides at the Stratosphere.
Red Rock Canyon (about 35-45 minutes off strip) had awesome hiking. It’s really beautiful out there. 
The buffet at Caesars is bomb af.

I’ve never personally been but me and my friend were just talking about this the other day. She recommend to stay at the MGM as they have an underground shopping mall and lazy river in it. She also recommended to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower at night to watch the light show.
