How do you feel about attending to other people’s baby showers when TTC?

I hate baby showers for the most part. I don’t get jealous about the baby part. Just grab a glass of champagne and suffer through the games and crap. 🤷‍♀️

I treat people the way I want to be treated... I would never bypass a baby shower because I’m having trouble trying to conceive mostly because I wouldn’t want anyone to do that to me. I am in a place where I can still be genuinely happy for others that have what I want.

I feel fine. I only go to showers for people I love and care about. I enjoy myself and have a great time. Yes I am TTC and it’s taking longer than I hoped, but that doesn’t mean I can’t celebrate a loved one having a baby. Why should me not being pregnant effect a relationship I cherish? For me the two things are never even on my mind at the same time. God is the best planner and if He has decided it’s not my turn yet then I’m okay with that.

If you pass on someone’s baby shower because you’re ttc then don’t you dare invite that person to yours when it finally happens for you.
