Did you tell your parents you were TTC?

Why/why not?
My man was about to spit it out last night but I was quick to stop him. I don’t want to deal with the same questions every time we see them. Also this is our first time TTC so I have no idea how it’s going to pan out.

My mum knows everything! I’d have been lost the last year without her to cry on. It took them a long time to fall for my brother (their first) so each month that goes by she genuinely knows how I feel. ❤️ my mum!

The complete opposite. I told her we weren’t even thinking about TTC until this summer. Is she going to be surprised on Mother’s Day when we announce that she’s going to be a grandma finally ... and we’re due on her birthday :)

We didn’t tell ours because we didn’t want questions or expectations. We told them when we got pregnant and that’s it

I don't tell anyone until I'm preg and sure it's going to stick...usually around 10-12 weeks.

We’ve been ttc for a good 4 months and we didn’t tell our parents. I’m super close to my mom and by guessing how she talks I think she guessed that we are but everything is unspoken. I donmt want anybody in my buisness,

I told my parents since I knew they’d be super supportive without always bringing it up and I’m really close to them. I left it up to my wife whether she told hers but was worried they’d be crappy about it (always asking and judging and trying to be up in our business and telling everyone) and didn’t want to tell them until we were through the first trimester. She told her mom, who didn’t seem to care (which crushed my wife). We haven’t seen her mom since that phone call and don’t see her family much so it may be ok and we might be pregnant and past the first trimester by then.
