Any tips for gardening?

So I have always liked gardens. Flowers, vegetables, whatever. 
I have never tried before. Any tips on how to start? I have no idea where to begin!! Lol

Definitely do some research into plants that will do well in your area! Herbs are great to grow, most aren’t too finicky.

I started small. my first year I grew tomatoes and peppers in containers. it was so easy to focus on plant care when you don't have to worry as much about weeding and a large area of soil to monitor. if you enjoy it plant an actual garden next year. my garden has slowly been expanding over the years

If you're looking to start from seem you need to look at the planting chart for you demographics. This will let you know when it's safe to plant your garden. I personally start with a nursery in the house to start the seeds in March so I can plant actually plants in April.   If you're looking to build an outdoor garden it is recommended to have an elevated garden for proper water draining. I like to line the garden bed with newspaper, soil, limestone, azomite, and fish emulsion. This will provide the plants with nutrients. Personally, I had to build a fence with chicken wire around my garden to keep rabbits and deer out. There is so much that goes into gardening that you may wanna spend a few days researching
