conceiving late, does it reveal the gender??

so, from what i understand, girl sperm last longer but are slower. boy sperm are quicker but die off faster.
i concieved after late ovulation and a week after i ovulated. would that mean its more likely im,having a girl?? i know its not a sure thing or anything, just wondering! has anyone,found this,to be true??

You cannot conceive a week after you ovulate. Once your egg is released, it has 24 hours for the sperm to fertilize it. The point of fertilization is the point at which conception occurs.

ok... so i got a positive ovulation test the 17th of march. we did it all week before and day of. couldnt after bc hubby was out of town but im due the 19th of december. makes me 6w 5ds.... how is that possible??? it all doesnt match up

It's not about whether u ovulated late or not. Has to do with the timing of sex. The closer you have sex to ovulation day, they say higher chance of boy. If you have sex a couple/few days before ovulation, tends to lean girl.
