False positive?

Hey guys Just wondering what the chances of a false positive are? I’m 9dpo and got the second line after about 3 minutes
Never had a positive test before and just thought I’d double check before I get my hopes up

There’s never a false positive. They’re may be an indent like that some people think is positive. But your test is for sure positive! Congrats!

I have had false positives, multiple times, not taking medication, nothing that would cause it. If you want to know if it's a false positive, take another test. You won't get two false positives. When I get a positive, I take a second test to make sure. I got a false positive both months before I was actually pregnant with my son. They do happen, not indent lines, not evap lines, fully positive tests and my doctor has no idea why for me. (I've showed him pictures of the obvious positive tests and my HCG was 3 and 4 each time). False positives are rare so good luck!

it's a much higher likelihood of getting a false negative then a false positive... anyways congrats
