Once pitocin was administered , how much longer until your delivery? I go in tomorrow night and am petrified of being induced and having a long labor. This is my second baby. My first was 12 days late but I was at the hospital less than 5 hours and had him- no induction and no epidural b

At 39 weeks I only labored for 7 hours. It was smooth and I am so glad I got to do it that way. Good luck!

I was scheduled to be induced but after they broke my water I progressed enough by myself and didn’t need the drugs😊 it was only three hours after my water broke

I didn't get pitocin, I got the pill that goes next to your cervix..not sure what it's called. I got my 1st pill at 7:30am. It didn't do anything. 3 hours later I got another one. I was told if it didn't make any progress, I would be sent home. A little before 4pm, my water broke and little man was here at 1:32am the next morning

I was induced at 39w at 5 cm and 75% effaced. After pitocin, it was 7 hours before my daughter was born, 4 hours of active labor.
