how to deal with waiting?

i lost my baby in August at 18 weeks. we have been trying to get pregnant again with no luck. we have decided to take a break from fertility treatments for a few months and i just cant stop thinking about having a baby. how did others cope with the waiting and knowing that it will be a long time before it will happen.

I’m currently in the exact position! Miscarried at 12 weeks in January. We waited about 6 weeks for my cycle to come back, and started trying right away. So now we are on month 2 of ttc again. 
I hate thinking how long will this take? But I can’t help it! There is no answer really..  i read things online and I think “oh statistically it should only take a few months” but I don’t know why I read those articles, cause we never really met any of the stats so far! Took us a year to get pregnant which is rare, then miscarried at 12 weeks which is only a 1% chance of that happening. Sigh.. good Luck to you too.
