Plan B & Period sex!! Please help!!!

Hi everyone!!! I have become newly sexually active with my first boyfriend. He has had WAY more experience than me and I do trust him with my whole heart.

2 weeks ago during when I thought I ovulated we had unprotected sex. He pulled out WAY before he came but I was nervous about pre cum so he said even though nothing happened if you want to take Plan B go ahead.

I took Plan B just to be safe and my period came 2 days early. I’m still on my period and we had unprotected period sex for the first time last night (which was great btw haha). Pretty much the same situation happened. He pulled out when he felt the sensation that he was going to cum and went to the bathroom right away to take care of it. He did that twice in one night. My boyfriend told me again nothing happened so you shouldn’t have to take Plan B unless you want to.

So my question to you all is should I take Plan B to be safe?? If so, is it safe to take it on your period?? And also after 2 weeks of taking it previously?? Am I overthinking all this??

Please know that I’m going to get birth control very soon and I know it will give me peace of mind when I do. And don’t judge me. This is all completely foreign to me. Thank you
