Natural Birth

I’m currently 4 wks pregnant (I know very early lol) w my second baby. With my first child my water broke, I was progressing slowly, & the nurses put me on pitocin which I didn’t want bc I wanted to have a natural birth. I got to 5 cm & couldn’t take the pain so I had gotten an epidural & therefore couldn’t feel anything as I was pushing. Every time I thought I could feel the pain I hit the button to give me more numbing medication.

This may sound silly for a second Mom but I have no clue abt the feeling . I am curious what a natural birth feels like? I’m into spiritual things like crystals, positive affirmations, meditation, etc., so I plan to deeply prepare my mind as I have done when it comes to dealing w my anxiety (aside from pregnancy). Why do some women scream when they’re pushing? Is it bc it hurts the vagina or because the contractions hurt? All details are welcome :) thank u.
