How soon after you had your babies did you get back to driving?

I’ve not driven in over nearly 6 months and just want to get back out there but my parents are concerned it’s too soon!

I had my bubba on the 16th via c-section, it’s still a little painful. But it’s only a stinging sensation. I want to get to baby groups etc and see friends but I think public transport would be too much, and it cost too much for someone who’s not employed.

I just wanted an average idea of when would be a good time to get back to driving.
