I went in for my 12&1/2 week scan last week and at first I wasn’t going to do the genetic testing but mentioned the NT scan. My doctor said “we can do it, but why would you do a more inaccurate test before a more accurate test?” and I ended up doing the genetic screening. What he said makes sense to me but I thought NT scans were just a normal part of it all? He refers out for the anatomy scans so would it be done at that time or is it just something that is being phased out by the genetic screening?
