Aubree Reign

I went into labor and delivery actually after I got adive from a post on here. I had a headache and my BP was elevated too. I was admitted and monitored that night. My headache was constant and my blood pressure was still high. My blood had protein in it which then they diagnosed me with preeclampsia. I was told I would have a csedtion the following morning. I was 35 weeks 5 days! My lab work and blood pressure kept raising but the doctor felt better with me getting two steroid shots to strengthen up my daughters lungs! Aubree Reign was born at 35w5d weighing 4 pounds 15 ounces and 18 inches long. she was then taken to nicu! I was unable to see my daughter for 24 hrs because I was recovering taking meds and she was in nicu qnd we couldn't leave our side. I was an emotional mess but hubby kept me updated with pics and FaceTime. Aubree had trouble taking breaths so she was on oxygen and fluids. She also didn't do well with taking breaths while eating! she would forget and have to catch her breath. After two days in nicu my fighter started eating well and got released. Two days in postoartum with me then we got discharged! She weighs 4 pounds 8 ounches as of yesterday! healthy but teeny tiny!! She gave us a scare but is doing excellent at home!!!!
