Late period or pregnant? Help!

I have recently got off of birth control after being on it for about 6-7 years. My period is 5 days late, could it be because I just got off the birth control or should I take a pregnancy test?

Yes, it could be. It can generally take 3-6 months for ur body/natural cycles to adjust after getting off birth control. That said, if u have been sexually active (especially without protection), then pregnancy is a possibility as well & u should take a test. If it’s negative, wait another week or two & test again to be sure.

It can take a while for your period to start being regular on its own again don’t stress because it just makes it worse
