Crazy Periods 🤦🏻‍♀️

So, I’m 17 years old and a bit heavier, just to put perspective on me. My periods used to be semi-regular, but my OBGYN put me on birth control when I was 15 (not because of being sexually active, but my bleeding and pain was over 10 on the scale). So I took birth control for a while, and my period stopped all together. The birth control I took escalated my depression and anxiety, so I stopped taking it about a year ago. I got my period today after not getting it for two months, and my pain and bleeding is worse than it has ever been. (I bleed through ultra tampons in like an hour.) I’m just curious if this is actually normal or if there’s more to it. I really only go to my OBGYN when it’s absolutely needed because she’s a bitch. 🙄 Any tips, information, or just any comments would really help me & I hope everyone has a great rest of their weekend. 💖
