This sounds like a dumb question but

So when you get fertile cm is it most likely like before during or after ovulation when you get it. I always shoot for trying to have sex during it but nothing ever happens. Currently close to the end of my two week wait but feeling like I am out since I skipped my last period but I had egg white cm 12 days ago so I went for it. Just have a feeling my period is on its way but felt like this 4 weeks ago and it past and my period never happened but I know I am and wasn’t not pregnant
