Our baby shower was yesterday and both my husband’s family and mine was there. I’m 35 weeks so conversation naturally went to when everyone thinks baby will be making his debut. Everyone on my side (mom, both grandmas, four aunts, and six cousins) all had their babies 2-3 weeks before their due dates. On my husband’s side, his mom had him about a week early and his grandma was about two weeks early. Long story short, no one made it to their due date. I said I didn’t think it made a difference but everyone else agreed that early babies are genetic and that there’s no way I’m making it to 40 weeks. What do you guys think? And did your babies follow in family footsteps or do their own thing?
