Montessori nursery
It was sooo much work to clean and renovate; we moved into our first house at 33w. I did 95% of the work my fat, pregnant self. So relieved it’s finished at 37w!
I wanted something that wasn’t super gendered with a place for me to “sleep when the baby sleeps.” The floor bed is a traditional Japanese futon and tatami mat. All of the shelves and furniture is reinforced to the walls with baby-friendly books and toys on the lowest levels.
