getting induced?

I've recently discovered I have gestational diabetes. I've been put on insulin of a night to help with my levels. ive been told people with gestational diabetes will be induced at 40 weeks but people taking insulin will be induced at 38 weeks is that for sure or is it possible they will let me continue on untill baby is ready to come, I haven't had a growth scan as yet to see if baby is growing large. I'm currently 26weeks +4days

This is my second pregnancy so not sure if I have GD this time around 😩 but during my first pregnancy I had GD and was just diet controlled no insulin. And they induced me at 39 weeks cause they didn’t want him to get too big! It just all depends on your OB and if the baby is too big, but usually they don’t let you go over 40 weeks with GD

I'm a type one diabetic, currently 26 weeks, and will be induced between 35-37 weeks, even tho I've had amazing control over my numbers and haven't had any complications, the added stress on my body with the baby and diabetes, among other health problems, my doctors feel itll be safer to take him a little earlier then full term. just to prevent any serious struggles I may face and I'm okay with that

I’m 25 weeks and currently on Insulin at night as well. My OB told me that starting at 34 weeks I will be doing non stress tests 2x a week to make sure the baby is moving enough and I’m not having contractions. She said as long as it looks good I can deliver at 39 weeks. This is my 4th baby and the first time I’ve been put on insulin at night. My OB is also pregnant and due the same day as me, so I will be getting transferred to a new one and I have no idea what to expect since every OB does things differently. I’ve been induced before with my last two at 39 weeks and it wasn’t that bad for me.

I never had gd but I tested boarderline diabetic a month before I became pregnant and I had the gd test at 12weeks and it was ok I am going for another one at 28 weeks I am 26 weeks on Wednesday but drs said they will be inducing between 37-39 weeks no matter what bcz my blood pressure is high prepregnancy and during the meds only seem to work every once and a while but most the time it’s high and they are doing growth scans every 4weeks but at 28weeks they switch me to every 2weeks for scans and as long as we both stay stable we will wait til 39weeks but I am ok with 37weeks lol
