Is this normal or should I be concerned?

So my boyfriend gave me a hickey Friday and I haven’t had a hickey in this spot before. It hurt really bad during and after but didn’t think about it at the time. It looked like a regular hickey until I woke up this morning.... now it looks more like a bad bruise then a hickey. Should I be concerned or is this normal??

Yes it’s pretty much a bruise anyway, by the looks of it ... this should actually heal faster than what a normal hickey looks like.

The hickeys my SO gives me every once in a while will look like this. Usually mine look like this when they are starting to heal up. You’ll be fine! Don’t worry
