Gross but has anyone lost any of their mucus plug?

Question

I'm 99% sure I lost a good bit of my mucus plug a couple of days ago. I'm going on 25 weeks tomorrow and this didn't happen with my first so I'm not really sure if that's normal. I should probably mention it to my OB at my appointment tomorrow right?

I thought I lost a piece of it and my doctor wanted to see me to make sure everything was fine. I would just let your doctor know.

they regenerate so its fine. its normal to lose it here and there

This has happened to me twice now, and both times it was a day after having sex. My dr said as long as there's no significant bleeding or cramping there's no need to worry.

I'm curious as to how you discovered it? Did it come out on the toilet paper when you wiped or did it slip out in the toilet bowl when you peed?
