Water broke! 32 weeks 4 days

So I woke up early Sunday Monday because I felt I was peeing. It was 1:50 AM. I thought I was having an accident as I sat up I tried to make it stop but it just kept coming out. I went to the bathroom and left a trail and more just kept coming out. I realized that was not pee and my water had broke. I told my husband and we immediately rushed to the hospital. 40 minute drive that had my mind racing with different thoughts. We check in and they rushed us to the back. They did a test to check if my water had ruptured and it sure did. They tested for infections those came back negative. BUT, since my water had ruptured at 32 weeks 4 days they said I would be admitted and I would be staying until he decides to make his entrance. Broke my heart to hear I would have to be staying here when we have been working on our nursery and it wasn’t finished. Then the thought of not seeing my dogs for weeks made me really sad. I have to pull myself together and just make it through these next few weeks. Prayers little man stays cooking for another 2 weeks but there is really no way to tell. They said sometime this month he will come. He will not be a June baby as planned. Little guy has a mind of his own. Also, the steroid shot has to be the most painful shot I’ve ever had to get. Other then that no signs of contractions so that is a sign of relief! Praying he stays in there a little longer. 💙
