OPK vs. BBT - TMI photo

Is the only way to confirm ovulation through bbt? I used an opk and got my lh surge (strong positive) on the 23rd and the past two days I’ve had spotting on 4-5 DPO. is this ovulation spotting or possibly implantation? I had ewcm a few days before my LH surge so I’m 100% positive that I ovulated on the 23rd or 24th.
