Ladies, when giving birth did you find having a clean shave down there was easier to keep things clean and take care of during labor and postpartum? Or no?

Not really, all you can do is spray with a squirt bottle so I don't think it makes much difference, it's whatever you prefer

Ive always shaved since I was a teen. I was an avid road biker and with tights its more comfy. Personal preference, nothing to do with aesthetics.

It’s really personal preference but I trimmed well and kept it trimmed so that it was easier to keep clean down there.

Shaving is always very irritating for me and I didn’t want any extra irritation . I did trim though to try to keep things a little neater.

I was told if you shave you’re prone to infections especially if you accidentally cut or open any pores in your skin. I went with my bush and was proud of that Afroing in the pool for my water birth #whocares

My fiancé trimmed me before i gave birth. My son hung SO low and it was impossible for me to see what I was doing. I’m glad I let him do it though, because it’s so hard to keep clean the first week after the baby comes, I didn’t want to deal (TMI) with a bloody bush.
