Vaginal irritation

So this is a little embarrassing. I recently had a yeast infection and uti at the same time. I am finishing off the medication for them now. My vagina is really dry and when I had sex (after infections cleared up) it was a little painful and I felt like I wasn’t wet even on the inside. I am also on birth control. Can that have something to do with the medication or should I go back to the doctor?
