Reassurance needed

Hi girls.

I’ve had brown spotting since Tuesday and last two days it’s been bright red and pretty heavy, enough for a pad.

I had a stomach scan and also a TV scan this morning and we saw the baby, it’s measuring a week behind (6 weeks rather than 7) but there was the flicker of the heart beat.

The technician said baby looks fine, cervix is closed but no explanation for the bleeding.

Just been told to go back if i get clots?

Anyone else had this and got some positive reassurance?
